Windows 7 - "The network path was not found"
When trying to access a NAS shared drives from a user pc (AD domain) it says path was not found, but I can access the same path from other computers. path is similar to ' \\emeafr-mkt-backup\mkt2$\141626 '.User normally had to receive automotically when login into corp domain a "H:\emeafr-mkt-backup\mkt2$\141626 "mapped drive. But it does not eppear for this user. when I try to map it manually I get the error path was not found. strangly on the same NAS user has other 3 mapped drives to different departemental folders for i.e: Q:\\emeafr-mkt-backup\Marketing-Sales-Communications\Business Planning\... I have checked and this path is not listed in his Network drives path (only the other 3 drives are mapped) I would appreciate if you could help based on the above info!! Thankx Alfredo

Hi, Can you ping it using \\ip? Make sure "Network discovery", "file and Printer Share" enabled on the computer. Make sure no firewall running or any security setting. It is domain environment, check your WINS.
